Rapidly dissolving granular chlorine will bring your chlorine levels up quicker than chlorine tabs. It is perfect for raising your free chlorine, especially after refilling your spa. It is effective when used as a troubleshooting treatment for cloudy or insoluble residue in water. It also can be used as part of your regular spa maintenance if you use your spa more than 4-5 times a week or after entertaining guests.
It is important to maintain a free chlorine residual of 3 - 5 ppm at all times. When first starting a spa with Chlorinating Concentrate granules, test the free chlorine residual frequently to determine how often you will need to apply the product. Add 20g of Chlorinating Concentrate Granules per 1000 Liters at a time with the pump running. Circulate for 2 hours, then retest the free chlorine residual. Adjust as needed.
Stabilized Chlorinating Granules contains stabilizer (cyanuric acid) which will accumulate in spa water. Keep stabilizer within 30-100ppm range by dilution with fresh water.
